What is CM kisan Kalyan Yojan

Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched this scheme on 22 September 2020. Initially, farmers received ₹4,000 under the scheme. Later, the government increased this amount to ₹6,000.

The benefit of this scheme is only provided to farmers who are already benefiting from the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. So far, around 81 lakh farmers in the state have applied for this scheme and are receiving its benefits.

Under this scheme, farmers receive assistance totaling Rs. 6000, distributed in three installments of Rs. 2000 each over the course of one year. But in This year, the first installment for 2024 was deposited into the bank accounts of farmers on 6 March 2024.

Purpose of Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana

• Farmers of Madhya Pradesh should get good financial support.
• This scheme has been launched to offer financial assistance to small and marginal farmers in the state for agricultural purposes.

Eligibility for Chief Minister Kisan Kalyan Yojana

• Only Madhya Pradesh farmers can apply for this scheme.
• Farmers should be permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh can avail the benefits of this scheme.
• The benefits of this scheme will be extended to farmers who are registered under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
• The applicant farmer must possess cultivable land and be actively engaged in agricultural activities.
• The applicant should be a small or marginal farmer.
