The government of Odisha has started a scheme to help women in their economic conditions, a scheme named Subhadra Yojana for them, through which women will get financial support.
This scheme is similar to the Mahtari Vandana Yojana in Chhattisgarh. This scheme was implemented very well in Chhattisgarh and the women of Chhattisgarh supported it very well and praised it a lot.
Due to this, the Subhadra Yojana has been launched inspired by the Mahtari Vandana Yojana in Odisha.

What is the Subhadra Yojana?
This scheme has been started by the government of Odisha. Through this scheme, every woman of the state will be able to get financial assistance. All beneficiary women will be given financial assistance of Rs 50,000 by the government. The benefit of this scheme will be given only to married women of the state.
This assistance amount will be provided to the beneficiary women in the form of gift vouchers. Every woman in the state will get a cash voucher of Rs 50,000 which the women can use within 2 years.
Subhadra Yojana Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a permanent resident of Odisha state.
- The benefit of this scheme will be given only to married women of the Odisha state.
- The age of the applicant woman should be between 23 years to 59 years.
- Anganwadi workers can also avail the benefits of the scheme by applying for Subhadra Yojana.
- Any one member of the family can avail of the benefit under this scheme.
