This scheme aims to provide technical knowledge and support to women farmers. So, that they can help themselves and run their household well.
The scheme is being worked on to launch across the country but in the first phase it has been launched in 12 states of India they are Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

Through the Krishi Sakhi Yojana 2024 scheme, women of rural areas will be given training about various agriculture-related activities like soil testing, seed processing, organic fertilizer production, crop protection, harvesting, etc.
Through this scheme, women getting proper training in farming and women also will not only help the farmers but will also be able to earn a proper income by gaining good knowledge in the agriculture sector.
Aim of the Krishi Sakhi Scheme 2024 | कृषि सखी योजना 2024 का उद्देश्य
This scheme aims to provide technical knowledge and support to the women farmers. For this, many women will be trained and prepared as Krishi Sakhi to help the farmers.
Krishi Sakhis is now being given refresher training with a special focus on natural farming and soil health cards. This training is provided through DAY-NRLM agencies in coordination with the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE).

Through this scheme, the income of farmer families will increase. Under this scheme, those women who understand farming will be selected for Krishi Sakhi.
Through this scheme, Krishi Sakhis will be given extensive training in various agricultural methods. Due to this they will be well equipped to provide help and guidance to the farmers in an effective manner.
In this scheme, Women can earn 60 thousand to 80 thousand rupees in a year. Now to date 34,000 out of 70,000 Krishi Sakhis have been given certificates as Para Extension Activists.
How Many Women Will be Given Agricultural Training?
In this scheme, training will be given by Krishi Vigyan Kendra and Agriculture Departments. This scheme will be implemented in 12 states of the country. In its first phase, 90 thousand women will be given training.
Now to date, 34,000 Krishi Sakhis have been taken certificates as Para Extension Activists. After joining Agriculture Para Extension, women will be given 56 days of training.

- By going there, you will have to get the application form of Krishi Sakhi Yojana and filled all the information carefully asked in the application form.
- After entering all the information, you will have to submit the documents including the application form back to the same place from where you got them. then you get a receipt.
